1. He was born on March 22, 1967 – and that makes him 56 years old
2. His father was Nicholas Ike and his mother, Comfort
3. His school, St. Nicholas College, in Magodo, Lagos, was actually named after his father before it was shut down
4. His mother, back then, used to sell akara (bean cake)
5. He is from Mbano in Imo State
6. He attended Eko Primary School, Bariga, Apata Memorial College, Isolo and Yaba College of Technology, Lagos, where he read Engineering
7. At Yaba Tech, he was so industrious that he had a business centre that was fetching him money even as a student
8. He speaks fluent Yoruba and Igbo languages
9. He was introduced to acting via Ernest Obi, and later, Charles Awoyemi
10. His first movie role was in Deadly Affair, by Opa Williams, in 1995
11. So far, he has taken part in over 300 films and also produced a few
12. He was initially married to Emma Suzanne, a half German, half Nigerian lady who gave him four children
13. Their marriage, after over a decade, was dissolved by the Lagos Island Customary Court in 2017. Emeka, by the way, met Emma while she was 18 and they got married when she was 23
14. He is currently married to Yolanda Pfeiffer, a South African lady who works for Amazon and they have a daughter
15. His eldest son is Michael while his last daughter is Oluchi
16. Emeka and Yolanda currently live in Nuremberg, Germany
17. He attempted to be President, Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) in 2010
